Our last curved stairlift install of 2024! The Flow X from Access BDD was again the perfect solution for navigating the start from the hallway where we couldn't have the rail or stairlift protruding into the hallway. So the drop nose rail was the perfect solution, the stairlift will still travel down into the hallway so our client can get on and off easily and with the press of a button the stairlift can be moved to an intermediate park point out of the way to provide full access to the hallway.
With Christmas fast approaching Im sure many of us are looking forward to some time spent with our children, spouses and all the family, and we are so lucky to be able to do so. Unfortunately not everyone is as fortunate to do so and Christmas day is just another day.
Each year as a company we try to spread some cheer, this year we decided on helping those in our local community who have dementia and will be alone this Christmas. Working alongside a lovely OT who is always collecting for special occasions for her clients we decided to make some festive goody bags. I had to get a little creative with the bags as I couldn't find any gift bags but who doesn't love a bit of crafting on a Friday night!

Working in this industry it can be absolutely heartbreaking to be in someones home and they simply can not afford to put the heating on, lights on or even a TV or radio for some company. Im not ashamed to say I have walked away with a tear in my eye as its unfortunately a generation that seems to be forgotten, we here at Dolphin help where we can with what we can in regards to their stairlift and mobility needs or even just staying for that extra cuppa and a chat.
Unfortunately as we head into the coldest months of the year and with rising energy costs and the cut to winter fuel payments this is only going to get worse so to see something like this from Creative Digital Life LTD is so amazing, we have worked with the guys there for many years, they do a fab job on our website, helping with social media and our SEO so we will definitely be helping this worthy cause and ask our friends and followers on here to share the post and donate if you can.It's coming up to Christmas and the coldest months of the year.
We want to help the unfortunate elderly people who will find it hard to keep warm over these next few months.
As we all know, they have had their winter fuel allowance taken away from them, and this is where we want to help as much as we can.
We would like anyone who can donate anything warm to our mission; this could be warm socks, gloves, scarves, hats, blankets, or hot water bottles.
Anything that you can afford to donate would be absolutely amazing. You can even wrap them up with a little note if you wish to.
To donate, please either send your donated item to Creative Digital Life Limited, Cradley Enterprise Centre, Maypole Fields, Halesowen, B63 2QB or if you're not too far away from us, we can collect them. You can contact us by emailing hello@creativedigital.life.
We will then personally give these out to the elderly who need them the most.

We had an install this week for our lovely client Miss C. After a fall she had no choice but to sleep downstairs which wasn't ideal, after realising that her stairs really were an issue for her she decided a stairlift would be her best option.
Unfortunately for Miss C she didn't come to us first and went with another company for a quote, the sales person there and then sold a product to Miss C and took the deposit. When it came to an engineer attending to take the measurements for the stairs Miss C was told they in face couldn't supply her a stairlift due to the configuration of the stairs. Obviously this wasn't great as now the process of obtaining her refund and starting the process all over again added more time to Miss C having to sleep downstairs!
Thankfully Miss C reached out to us and we sent an engineer (as we always do on our quotations as we will always know the best solution vs a sales person) and we were able to quote and install the Flow X from Access BDD. The tricky start, bends and finish were no problem at all! With its ASL we can program the stairlift to turn exactly where we need it to meaning the narrow stairs and bends were no issue. The rail start specially designed so the much used pantry door was still accessible and the top overrun upstairs meant there was lots of space to get on and off the stairlift. A simple press of the park button moves the stairlift to the park position on the stairs so Miss C has full access upstairs and down. ... See MoreSee Less

Another fab install of the Ergo Curve from Platinum Stairlifts as usual the rail fit like a dream, the chair blends in and looks so stylish..... something a little bit different on this one is the powered footrest. The press of a button and the footrest is up and out of the way!

Another week almost done, installs completed in Birmingham, Dudley and Walsall.
Our Walsall job was on a quick turn around as the stairlift was desperately needed, quoted Wednesday afternoon and the new Platinum Stairlifts ergo straight was installed Thursday morning!
We keep straight stairlifts in stock and we can cut the rail to the required length so can get them installed quickly.
