⭐️The importance of regular servicing and informing us of an issue with your stairlift ⭐️

We understand that times are extremely difficult for everyone at the moment and the cost of an annual service on your stairlift may seem like an expense you could do without but it is vital to have your stairlift serviced. It is also so important that you inform us of any changes you have noticed with your stairlift. 

I attended a breakdown, unfortunately no service had been carried out on the stairlift for some time. It had been reported as the lift being dead. On arrival I immediately tested the stairlift and it struggled to even move one stair up so I knew straight away it was the batteries, (the low battery warning on the display was also a dead give away 🙃). I removed the cover to access the batteries and found 2 very hot and leaking batteries, thankfully the leak hadnt caused any damage to the stairlift. I replaced the batteries with two new ones and voila one working stairlift. I proceeded to have a chat with our lovely clients carer who told me the stairlift had been running slow for a while and they werent sure what to do or what the issue was.

I explained that in the future just give us a call, we can diagnose most things over the phone and arrange call outs to suit your schedule. 

We send out reminders annually regarding servicing your stairlift, it really is so important to get them checked, thankfully our client was lucky that it was just a battery change and no further damage had been caused to the stairlift or the charger.

Another fabulous review from one of our recent installs, was a real pleasure to help Mr & Mrs S. 

Urgently needed stairlift for my husband as it was no longer safe for him to do stairs. Dolphin Stairlifts (Central) were spot on. They went above and beyond to get it installed for him as quickly as possible at a very competitive price. We were kept informed along the way of time estimates by Sarah. The engineers did the fitting and were friendly and very helpful. After fitting any questions I had I just had to call to get a quick answer. Been a little quiet on our social media as we have just been so busy!! Also have had engineers enjoying much deserved Holiday time with family! This week just the two Curved stairlifts have been installed, the Flow X from Access BDD - this was for a lovely gent who had already had another company in to install but they just couldnt achieve the finish he was looking for. Happily our our skills and the unique features of the Flow X meant that we could install to the standard our client was looking for.

Secondly we installed another Ergo Curve from Platinum Stairlifts, another fab install which means our lovely client was able to access the upstairs of his home with ease for the first time in a long while. 

Weve had nothing but positive feedback letting us know what a positive change the installations have made which really does make our jobs so worthwhile!Image attachmentImage attachment+8Image attachment

Well another week almost done! And as ever what a week! Multiple installs done, more orders coming in and of course maintaining our servicing schedule with all our lovely customers! 

We also had a lovely gent pop in looking for a stop cam for a very old and discontinued stairlift but thankfully we were able to find him one from our stock of spares. 

Couple of photos from 2 of our install this week, the Ergo straight and a reconditioned Curve from Platinum Stairlifts, Platinum seeming to be our customers preferred choice of late! BUT remember we are an independent supplier of many makes of stairlifts including Access BDD, Bruno Independent Living Aids and much more.

Who's looking forward to the weekend!?! Almost the end of another busy week here at Dolphin stairlifts (Central) Ltd, the orders are flying in for both curved and straight stairlifts with three due to be installed next week in Dudley, Stourbridge and Birmingham.

Services for the week all complete and our showroom overhaul is moving along nicely so we will soon be ready for customer visits and demo's in Cradley Heath.

Our team definitely deserve a sunny weekend to relax to start again on Monday.
