Para Rider Hot Tub Hoist – Safe, Simple & Customisable
The Para Rider Hot Tub Hoist is designed to make access safe, easy, and tailored to your needs. It can be used with a 2 or 4 point spreader bar, or with the SureHands Body Support system, giving you flexibility in how you transfer.
If no supporting structure is available, the hoist can be securely mounted to a steel beam. Most of our clients choose to fix it to an I-beam or U-shaped steel beam, set into structural-grade concrete. We recommend a minimum of a 600mm³ concrete block, though soil conditions may require more. For safety, a structural engineer should always confirm the correct size of the base. To ensure stability, the beam must be installed vertically at a 90° angle to the concrete foundation.
When it comes to lifting options, you can choose from:
- Seat Sling – the most popular and easiest to use, attached to the 2-point spreader bar
- Standard Sling – a versatile option for many users
- SureHands Body Support System – suitable for certain riders, though it requires individual assessment and comes at a higher cost
