Stairlifts Options - Hinged Track - Manual and Powered

If you have a doorway that is at the bottom of the staircase you will need to have a hinged track if the rail would cause a trip hazzard accross the doorway.
There are two types of hinged track, firstly, a manual hinge is one you lift out of the way yourself. The second option is to have a powered hinge which is controlled by either the remote controls or the up/down switch on the stairlift.
